Chase and block in Via San Paolo Belsito
Yesterday afternoon, officers from the Nola Police Station, during a territorial control operation, noticed a man on board a car who, at their sight, accelerated in an attempt to elude control. A chase ensued during which the driver performed several dangerous maneuvers.
The escape ended in via San Paolo Belsito, where the 43-year-old was caught and stopped, although with no small difficulty. The police immediately ascertained that the car showed clear signs of forced entry and that it had been stolen shortly before in via Foro Boario.
For these reasons, the man was arrested for aggravated theft, and the car was promptly returned to its rightful owner.
