Nino D'Angelo's documentary "Nino. 18 Days" will be released in theaters in November.

On November 20th, "Nino. 18 Giorni" will be released in Italian theaters, a documentary that chronicles the personal and artistic journey of Nino D'Angelo, a celebrated icon of Neapolitan and Italian music, but above all a man and a father. Directed by Toni D'Angelo, Nino's son, the film is an intense journey through the past and present of an artist who defined an era with his blonde bob and hits like "Nu jeans e 'na camicia."

The film, produced by Isola Produzioni and Rai Cinema among others, premiered at the Venice Film Festival and brings to the big screen the story of a man who has endured poverty, success, distance, and now a newfound family intimacy. Toni follows his father on tour and to the places of his childhood, from San Pietro to Patierno to Casoria, offering a sincere and personal look, enriched by the questions only a son can ask.

The documentary's title refers to the 18 days during which, due to a sudden success, Nino was busy in Palermo with a drama, delaying his meeting with his newborn son, Toni. Today, both fathers, they try to fill that void, recounting not only the career of a legend, but his deepest humanity.
