An intense phenomenon: 119 earthquakes recorded in just over 30 hours, with magnitudes between 0.0 and 4.0, located in the Phlegraean Fields area.

The strongest tremor, a magnitude 4.0, was recorded at 4:55 a.m. on September 1st, with its epicenter about two kilometers deep in the upper part of Pozzuoli. This event woke thousands of residents, frightening families and tourists.

In the hours that followed, attention focused on Via Napoli, where a rocky ridge collapsed due to the constant vibrations. For safety reasons, the municipality ordered the precautionary evacuation of a building, affecting nine families and a business.
