Somma Vesuviana: 32-year-old man injured in shoulder

Somma Vesuviana – A thirty-two-year-old man was injured last night in Somma Vesuviana, in the province of Naples, following an incident involving the use of a firearm.

The man, already known to law enforcement, presented himself to the emergency room at the Ospedale del Mare in Naples with a shoulder wound. Paramedics deemed his life-threatening condition to be beyond their control.

According to initial reports, the incident occurred on Via Mercato Vecchio, in Somma Vesuviana. The victim told State Police officers that she had not identified the perpetrator.

The version provided is currently being examined by investigators from the General Prevention Office of the Naples Police Headquarters, who have launched an investigation to shed light on the dynamics.

Investigators are also looking for useful footage from video cameras in the area and are checking whether the suspect had an appointment with someone or whether he had recently clashed with anyone over illicit business.
