The site of the double homicide
Pollena Trocchia A 48-year-old man from Sant'Anastasia, in the province of Naples, has been arrested for double homicide. He is believed to have killed two women on separate days at a construction site in Pollena Trocchia, near Vesuvius. The alarm was reportedly raised by a couple who had been secluded in the area and who saw him enter the construction site together and then emerge alone shortly after, carrying a purse.
The investigations by the Carabinieri of the Torre del Greco operational section and the Cercola military have been coordinated since last night by the deputy prosecutor of Nola Martina Salvati.
The two women are a 29-year-old from Caserta and a 49-year-old of Ukrainian origin.
The man, who has been questioned for several hours now and is believed to be responsible for the double homicide, has reportedly made his first admissions: he murdered them, according to the Carabinieri and the Nola Prosecutor's Office, after having had sexual intercourse with both of them, each culminating in an argument over the payment.
