A nighttime raid in the Aversa and Marcianise countryside resulted in two arrests, charges filed, and over 100 people identified.

marcianiseA major territorial control operation began yesterday evening, June 6th, and concluded this morning, June 7th, by the Carabinieri of the Marcianise Company. The coordinated, high-impact operation aimed to combat widespread crime, verify compliance with restrictive measures, and ensure road safety in a particularly sensitive area of ​​the Caserta province.

The military patrolled the main roads and key points in the municipalities of Marcianise, Gricignano di Aversa, Sant'Arpino and Orta di Atella. In Sant'Arpino, a 39-year-old man from the Naples area, already under house arrest, was arrested: he was ordered to serve a remaining sentence of 2 years and 4 months for stalking. In Gricignano di Aversa, however, the Carabinieri They arrested a 52-year-old man, who had also previously been placed under house arrest.

The man will serve 3 years and 5 months in prison for drug trafficking, receiving stolen goods, and resisting arrest. Also in Gricignano, during checks on individuals subject to precautionary measures, another individual was reported for escape: officers found him absent from his home during the inspection. Road safety efforts were equally effective.

In Marcianise and Orta di Atella, two people were reported for driving without a license, repeating the offense within the past two years. Two others were reported to the judicial authorities for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

During anti-drug operations, four people were reported to the Prefecture as users: the Carabinieri seized small quantities of cocaine and hashish held for personal use. Overall, the operation involved 129 people and 80 vehicles. 22 traffic violations were reported, totaling more than €9.000.

Five vehicles were seized or administratively detained. This activity is part of the prevention and enforcement strategy launched by the Marcianise Company to restore safety and legality to the area.
