Ambush in Pozzuoli: 25-year-old shot in the leg on a street in Monterusciello

– An evening of bloodshed and fear in the Monteruscello neighborhood. Around 19:00 PM today, a violent ambush took place on Via Carlo Carrà, where a 25-year-old man was hit by multiple gunshots.

The bullets struck the victim in both lower limbs. The Carabinieri Operations Unit, along with officers from the Quarto Station and the Pozzuoli Station , immediately responded to the scene to conduct initial investigations and secure the area.

Emergency medical personnel rushed the 25-year-old to the emergency room of the Santa Maria delle Grazie hospital in Pozzuoli. According to initial information from medical personnel, the young man is currently hospitalized and, fortunately, his life is not in danger.

The circumstances and motive for the wounding remain unclear. The Carabinieri have launched a comprehensive investigation, combing the area for witnesses or surveillance cameras that may have captured the gunmen's escape.
