Pozzuoli: 68 people checked and repeat offender reported

Pozzuoli – Another intense day of extraordinary checks covered the Pozzuoli area, thanks to the coordinated efforts of the Naples Police Headquarters. Yesterday, the Pozzuoli Police Station, together with the Carabinieri and the Municipal Police, conducted a targeted operation to prevent and suppress all forms of illegality, with significant results on the ground.

Sixty-eight people were identified, including 16 with criminal records, while 28 vehicles were inspected. During the operation, officers reported six traffic violations, confirming the police's commitment to road safety.

There has been no shortage of action against illegal activities: a man was reported for operating as an illegal parking attendant again, despite already being subject to a DACUR (urban area prohibition) order. This action demonstrates the authorities' ongoing commitment to combating illegal activities that harm the community.

Yesterday's extraordinary service represents a further step in the fight against petty crime and ensuring the safety of Pozzuoli's citizens, with tight controls and collaboration between the various law enforcement agencies working in the area.
