Abuse on a Naples-Pescara bus: A 40-year-old man reported for sexual assault.

A university student from Naples reported being the victim of alleged sexual abuse while traveling on a Naples-Pescara bus. The incident was reported to the Carabinieri of the Cassino branch, who immediately began an investigation to reconstruct what happened.

The young woman provided the military with a detailed description of the man who allegedly committed the assault, allowing investigators to quickly direct their investigations.

The police investigations

The identification of the alleged perpetrator was possible thanks to cross-referencing the information collected with technical checks carried out on the passenger list and the bus's transit history along the affected route.

After completing their investigations, the Carabinieri identified a man of about 40 years old, a Ukrainian citizen, resident in Pesaro, married, and with no criminal record.

The complaint is filed

A complaint has been filed against the man, accusing him of sexual assault. The investigation continues to clarify the details of the incident and gather all the information needed by the judicial authorities.

As required by law, the person charged is presumed innocent until a final conviction is issued.
