Castel Volturno: Man beats wife in front of daughter and arrested

In the Caserta area, a 42-year-old man was arrested on charges of abusing his wife. The arrest was triggered after the woman called for help, reporting the attack she suffered in the presence of their daughter.

Officers from the Castel Volturno police station's investigative team arrived at the scene and had to overcome the resistance of the man who attempted to block them from entering the home. Once inside, they subdued him as he continued to assault his wife.

The woman was immediately rescued and treated, with injuries expected to heal within ten days. The man, by order of the public prosecutor, was transferred to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison pending the validation hearing.
