Naples is preparing to once again experience one of the most evocative summer experiences. "Note incantate" returns this year, the now traditional dawn concert that will welcome Ferragosto (August 15th) on August 15th at 5:00 a.m. from the splendid panoramic terrace of Sant'Antonio a Posillipo. The initiative, promoted and supported by the Department of Tourism of the City of Naples, celebrates its third edition, confirming itself as an unmissable event for both residents and tourists in the city.

The meeting between two musical generations

This year's artistic program has been divided into two distinct segments, designed to pay homage to Neapolitan tradition by uniting different generations. The opening performance will feature the legendary voice of Mario Maglione, accompanied by Michele Cordova on guitar.

Next up, Veronica Simioli will take the stage, joined by Dalavier Napolitano on soprano sax, Ermanno Romano on classical guitar, and Emidio Ausiello on percussion, who promises to create a unique atmosphere with his "sounds and colors of the earth."

How to participate: shuttles and reservations

To facilitate crowds, given the early hour, the city administration has arranged two shuttle buses departing at 4:00 a.m. from two key city hubs: Piazza Municipio and the Brin Parking Lot (Via Benedetto Brin, 100). Both admission to the concert and use of the shuttle service are completely free, but reservations are required.

Seats can be reserved through the EventBrite platform; the official registration link will be active starting at 12:00 PM on Monday, August 10th.

Armato: "An emotion that unites Neapolitans and tourists."

The morning event is part of the broader "See Naples in the Summer and Come Back" project. Tourism Councilor Teresa Armato, who created the format three years ago, emphasized the initiative's success: "The Ferragosto dawn concert is one of the most anticipated events in our program. It's an extraordinary experience: watching the sun rise to a soundtrack of the most famous arias from classic Neapolitan songs is an incredible and wonderful feeling."

After the sold-out performances of the last two years, with an audience that included young international tourists, the Department wanted to further enrich the program. "This year we wanted to add an extra touch," concludes Councilor Armato, "by paying homage to Naples and its music with two voices, one male and one female. Mario Maglione and Veronica Simioli represent the meeting of two generations, a testament to how our immense heritage is safeguarded, enhanced, and shared over time."
