A former historic building in the heart of Montesanto is about to be reborn as a social center dedicated to various groups of users, including children, young people, the elderly, people with disabilities, and families.

The former Giovanna d'Arco Institute will be redeveloped to provide spaces for care, training, study support, and independent living. The announcement was made by Naples Mayor Gaetano Manfredi, emphasizing the importance of restoring life and a new purpose to a symbolic neighborhood landmark.

Thanks to the collaboration with the Grimaldi Foundation, the project provides services that can be used free of charge or at discounted rates for residents of Municipality 2, with the aim of creating a concrete opportunity for the local community.

This initiative is part of a broader commitment by the City of Naples to strengthen the social services network in the Montesanto and Montecalvario neighborhoods, promoting inclusion and social support.
