A medium-sized dog was reported locked in a metal cage exposed to the scorching sun at a gas station near Vulcano Buono in Nola. The animal's condition raised concerns and calls for intervention from the competent authorities.

A dog trapped in the scorching sun at a gas station in Nola has been called for help.
In Nola, near the exit of the Vulcano Buono shopping center, a report drew attention to the fate of a medium-sized dog kept in a metal cage under the summer sun without any protection.
Images and videos shared by a passerby show the animal crouched on a concrete block base, exposed to the high August temperatures. This situation has raised concerns about the animal's possible mistreatment, given the lack of shelter and water.
Green-Left Alliance MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli urged the immediate intervention of the ASL veterinary services and the Nola Local Police to check the dog's condition, ensure the presence of water and protection, and evaluate possible legal action or seizure of the animal if any violations are found.
The incident brings to the fore the issue of animal protection in public areas, especially during the warmer months of the year.
