Shock in Siano: Bride dies of heart attack on her wedding day: community mourns

Siano – It was supposed to be the day that sealed her union with her beloved, the day of the long-awaited "I do." For Serafina, however, that "I do" never came. Struck by a heart attack, she died on the very day she was supposed to celebrate her wedding.

It happened in Siano. Serafina Grazia Di Filippo, 37, died this morning, and the ceremony, which should have been a moment of joy and celebration, turned into a day of deep sorrow for the Di Filippo and Fimiani families and the entire community.

From joy to drama

Mayor Giorgio Marchese expressed his closeness to the family, posting on social media the condolences of the administration and the entire community:

«As Mayor and on behalf of the entire community, I express my deepest sympathy to the Di Filippo and Fimiani families and to all those who loved them».

A particularly touching thought was given to little Rosa, who should have spent a day with her mother that would become one of the most beautiful and important memories of their family.
