Secondigliano: 46-year-old arrested after being found in possession of cocaine during police checks.
A routine police check in the Secondigliano area resulted in a drug-related arrest yesterday morning. Officers from the Secondigliano Police Station, monitoring the area, noticed two men who, upon seeing the patrol car, attempted to flee.
After the operation, both were arrested on Via Alessandro Carratore. The 46-year-old, already known to law enforcement, was found in possession of 33 packages of cocaine weighing approximately 25 grams and €90 in cash.
The other individual was found in possession of two doses of the same substance and, for this reason, was administratively fined for illegal possession of drugs for personal use. The 46-year-old was arrested by the operating units. The operation is part of the law enforcement effort to combat drug trafficking in the area.
