A bar in Ponticelli has had its license suspended for eight days after a brawl.

A bar on Via Argine in Naples was temporarily closed by the Carabinieri following a fight between about ten people and for public safety reasons.

In Naples, Carabinieri officers from the Ponticelli station have suspended the license of a bar located on Via Argine for eight days. The measure, issued by the public safety authority, was triggered after a fight broke out inside the establishment involving at least ten customers.

Law enforcement also reported that the bar was frequented by individuals with criminal records, thus posing a concrete risk to public order. The temporary closure was ordered pursuant to Article 100 of the Consolidated Law on Public Safety (TULPS), a legislative instrument that allows for intervention in establishments deemed dangerous to public safety.
