General Castello stops in Torre Annunziata, Castello di Cisterna and Naples

The visit began at the Carabinieri headquarters in Torre Annunziata, where the General met with the active-duty soldiers and the station commander. The meeting continued with a briefing to the officers present in the group and concluded with an exchange of symbolic gifts and the signature of the service memorandum by the senior officer.

Throughout the tour, Castello expressed appreciation for the work of the three Group commands, highlighting their operational and institutional commitment, their proximity to citizens, and their support for the community. He assured support for the communities entrusted to the units, highlighting the importance of professionalism and proximity to the local community, and emphasized that the fight against all forms of crime also involves the targeted use of asset enforcement measures, a crucial tool for targeting the economic interests of organized crime.

The senior officer then reiterated his vision of command as close, present, and attentive to the needs of personnel at all levels. He urged station commanders and officers to demonstrate cohesion, a sense of belonging, and family spirit, emphasizing in particular the value of the "Arms family" as the cornerstone of daily action and mutual support.

The day's report is part of the recent judicial police operations that led to the arrest of several individuals linked to organized crime.
