Via Masseria Vecchia in Giugliano in Campania has become the scene of frequent nighttime gatherings of motorcyclists and scooter riders who compete in high-speed races and loud skid marks.

These incidents, which continue late into the night, disturb the public peace and pose a serious danger to local residents, many of whom live with small children.

The streets, usually used for pedestrian and family traffic, are transformed into a sort of improvised circuit, with risky maneuvers that put the safety of those who live nearby at risk.

MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli has received several reports and images documenting this dangerous behavior. According to Borrelli, these aren't just pranks, but actual road piracy that requires urgent action from the authorities.

Among the requests made are extraordinary checks, the installation of speed cameras and deterrents, and a constant presence of law enforcement to identify and punish those responsible. The goal is to ensure that residents of Via Masseria Vecchia can live and move around safely, without fear of accidents or constant disturbances during the night.
