Guided tours of the Herculaneum Suburban Baths construction site will resume in October 2026. Tours will take place every Saturday, in groups of up to 15 participants, with protective helmets and detailed information accessible via QR code. The Herculaneum Archaeological Park announces the return of guided tours of the Suburban Baths construction site from October to December 2026. While these tours do not yet constitute a permanent reopening, they allow the public to experience the rooms and ongoing conservation efforts up close, pending completion of the work.
Tours will take place every Saturday, with groups limited to a maximum of 15 participants and accompanied by Park staff. The tour requires the use of a protective helmet and access to additional materials via QR code.
"This new series of visits to the Suburban Baths construction site represents an important opportunity to introduce the public to an extraordinary space, still undergoing intense restoration work," said Federica Colaiacomo, Director of the Herculaneum Archaeological Park.
Hours : 9:30 (Italian) / 10:30 (English) / 11:30 (Italian) and 14:30 (Italian) / 15:30 (English) / 16:30 (Italian). The "extra" shift on October 10th is an exception, and will then be regulated by the winter timetable. Meeting at the assembly point on the Marco Nonio Balbo Terrace. Estimated duration: approximately one hour.
Tickets will be on sale starting Tuesday, September 29, 2026, online and at the ticket office. Combined ticket (Archaeological Park + Suburban Baths): €21,00. Discounts: EU and non-EU citizens between 18 and 25: €7,00 (promo). Free for children under 18 (children under 12 must be accompanied). Reservations can be made online and at the ticket office through CoopCulture and the official channels of the Ercolano Archaeological Park.
