During the AIC Gran Gala, Giovanni Manna, Napoli's sporting director, commented on the Neapolitan club's summer transfer window, describing it as less lively than in previous years but still consistent with the club's long-term strategies. Manna emphasized how Napoli has maintained its vision, focusing on a squad deemed capable of achieving its seasonal objectives.
Despite the change in coaching, the sporting director expressed confidence in the team's technical work and ability to perform at their best over time. On the offensive front, Manna denied that Lang's failure to sell had hindered the acquisition of a new striker, noting that last season Napoli had Hojlund and Lucca available until January, and that this year too the team is covered thanks to Giovane and the confirmed players, who were chosen and desired by the club.
The manager therefore reiterated Napoli's desire to focus on a solid and compact group, confident that continuity and planning will bring results.
