Napoli are dealing with a new injury on the eve of their trip to Florence. Leonardo Spinazzola missed today's training session due to a mild hamstring strain in his right thigh, putting his presence in doubt for the Serie A match against Fiorentina, scheduled for Sunday at 12:30 PM at the Stadio Franchi.
The club announced that the left-back has been sidelined due to a muscle strain. This situation will be assessed in the coming hours, with the medical staff monitoring the issue's progress before determining whether Spinazzola will be available for Sunday's match.
Spinazzola isn't the only player under observation. Zambo Anguissa also completed personalized training today, alternating gym exercises with on-field activities. The midfielder continues his recovery, but his availability for Florence remains to be determined.
The rest of the group completed a morning session, initially consisting of a warm-up, followed by tactical work. The session concluded with a series of finishing exercises.
With two days to go until the Fiorentina match, Napoli must now deal with a new unknown. Following Anguissa, Spinazzola is now on the list of players to monitor: the medical staff's next assessments will clarify the winger's potential for deployment at the Franchi.
