A check in Piazza Troisi resulted in a drug arrest. It happened in San Giorgio a Cremano, where police officers arrested a 22-year-old man, accused of illegal possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
The operation was carried out as part of the extraordinary operations implemented by the Naples Police Headquarters to combat drug possession and trafficking. While officers were passing through Piazza Troisi, they allegedly caught the young man in the act of selling a narcotic substance.
The officers intervened immediately, interrupting the alleged sale and detaining the 22-year-old. During the search, the young man was found in possession of €62 in cash.
The subsequent search of the scooter led to the discovery of 21 packages of cocaine hidden in the underseat compartment, for a total weight of approximately 10 grams.
At the end of the operation, the 22-year-old was arrested and handed over to the judicial authorities. He is charged with the unlawful possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
