The grape harvest returns to Pompeii: Wine Festival on September 16th with vineyard tours and tastings.

The Pompeii Archaeological Park is organizing the Wine Festival on Thursday, September 16th: guided tours of the domus vineyards, toasts with Feudi di San Gregorio wines, and tastings of PGI olive oil and products from Parvula Domus.

On Thursday 16 September 2026, the Archaeological Park of Pompeii will host the Wine Festival , an event celebrating the first harvest of the winemaking project activated with the public-private partnership of the Tenute Capaldo Group, through the Feudi di San Gregorio and Basilisco wineries.

The meeting is at 16:30 PM at the Casa del Triclinio vineyard (entrance from Piazza Anfiteatro). This year's harvest involves 14 small vineyards located within the Park's domus, covering a total area of just over one hectare. These vineyards are also cultivated for research and educational purposes. With the 2026 harvest, the project enters its first production phase.

  • toast with Feudi di San Gregorio wines;
  • tasting of bread and IGP oil from the Park, Pùmpaiia;
  • Tasting of products from Parvula Domus – the Park's cultural and social farm.

Program and educational activities:

  • Visits to the Orto dei Fuggiaschi vineyards and the outdoor Triclinium starting at 16:00 PM.
  • Visits and educational activities for children at the Foro Boario vineyard from 3pm, organised by the Pompeii Children's Museum (workshops by reservation on www.pompeiichildrenmuseum.it).
