Volla, 45-year-old arrested for stealing a car stereo

Volla – During the night, Carabinieri from the Torre del Greco Company's Mobile Radio Unit arrested a 45-year-old man from Cercola, already known to law enforcement, in Volla on charges of aggravated theft.
The military were engaged in a territorial control operation when they intervened on Via Sepone, near a park, following a report from some citizens regarding the presence of a suspicious car.

Upon reaching the area, the Carabinieri stopped the man while he was driving a Renault Modus. During the search, they found a car radio. The investigation allowed them to reconstruct the device's provenance: it had apparently just been stolen from a Lancia Y parked nearby.

The car radio was recovered and seized. The 45-year-old was arrested and is now awaiting trial, under the presumption of innocence until a final sentence is reached.
