Carinaro, 30-year-old arrested for demanding money from his mother and destroying the house

Late yesterday afternoon, officers responded to a home in Carinaro following yet another domestic incident. According to the reconstruction, the 30-year-old man allegedly demanded money from his mother. When she refused, tensions escalated, resulting in the destruction of some glass furnishings.

According to the Carabinieri, this latest act is not an isolated one. It appears to be part of a pattern of long-standing harassment against the woman. The man was arrested red-handed, based on the current state of the case and subject to the presumption of innocence pending a final verdict, for extortion and domestic violence.

No injuries were reported during the intervention. The woman was informed of her legal rights and the procedures set forth in Article 90-bis of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The officers advised her to contact local anti-violence centers if necessary.

The seized narcotic

During the investigation, another piece of information emerged. Shortly before the Carabinieri arrived, the man was allegedly found in possession of a pipe containing traces of crack cocaine. For this reason, he was reported to the competent Prefecture, as required by current legislation.

After completing the formalities, the arrested man was taken to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison, where he was placed at the disposal of the judicial authorities, who had already informed him and ordered his transfer to the institution.
