Marcianise: Two Neapolitans reported for theft and fraudulent use of a debit card at the Campania Shopping Center.

Marcianise (Caserta) – Yesterday evening, a wallet stolen from a young man prompted an intervention by the Carabinieri of the Marcianise Company's Mobile Radio Section at the Campania Shopping Centre, in the Aurno area.

Initial investigations reveal that two individuals—a 45-year-old woman and a 49-year-old man, both from the Naples area—stole the wallet and then used the debit card inside to make a series of payments.

The report triggered an investigation by the military, with the invaluable assistance of the shopping center's security staff. The two were located and taken to the control room, awaiting the arrival of the Carabinieri Mobile Unit.

Analysis of video surveillance footage identified the individuals believed to be involved in both the theft and subsequent transactions. The investigation suggests that the recovered goods—several items of clothing—were purchased with the stolen debit card.

Following the completion of the formal procedures, the woman and the man were released from custody and reported to the judicial authorities on suspicion of conspiracy to commit theft and fraudulent use of a debit card. The Public Prosecutor's Office has been notified for its assessment; the accused's position remains under review by the judicial authorities and will be assessed in the subsequent phases of the proceedings, respecting the presumption of innocence.
