Casoria, head-on collision between car and motorcycle: 32-year-old dies

Casoria – A dramatic traffic accident occurred today on the outer ring road (Circumvallazione esterna). On the stretch of road between Arzano and Casoria, a violent collision between a scooter and a car claimed the life of a 32-year-old man.

The clash and the rescue

The accident involved the scooter driven by the victim and an Audi Q5 driven by a 55-year-old man. For reasons that remain unclear, the two vehicles collided. The impact was unfortunately fatal for the 32-year-old man: emergency responders arriving on the scene could only confirm his instant death from the serious injuries he sustained.

Surveys and seizures

Carabinieri officers from the Casoria Carabinieri Mobile Radio Unit responded promptly to the scene of the tragedy. They conducted initial technical investigations to accurately reconstruct the crash and determine any liability. As is standard practice in these cases, both vehicles involved were placed under judicial seizure for subsequent expert assessments.

The investigations

The young victim's body was transferred to the Institute of Forensic Medicine, where it remains available to the Judicial Authorities for an autopsy. Law enforcement continues its comprehensive investigation to determine the cause of yet another fatal accident on the province's roads.
