Caserta: 58-year-old man charged with illegal possession of rifle and ammunition

This morning, Carabinieri officers from the Marzano Appio station found an 8,5 caliber Flobert rifle and six cartridges of the same caliber in a private residence, both held without the necessary authorization.

Immediate investigations indicate that the weapon is not registered in the databases consulted. Related investigative activities are continuing to reconstruct the weapon's provenance and identify its rightful owner.

The rifle and ammunition were seized and made available to the judicial authorities. The 58-year-old man who was reported has been reported at large to the competent judicial authority for illegal possession of weapons and ammunition and receiving stolen goods. The investigation is being coordinated by the judicial authorities to determine the origin of the weapon.
