Special waste dumped on a plot of land in Frignano: five people reported.

Frignano – Special waste accumulated on private land has been seized by Carabinieri officers. This is the result of an inspection conducted this morning by the Carabinieri of the Frignano station, engaged in combating environmental crimes in the Aversa countryside.

Five people were reported at large, believed to be involved, in various capacities, in the alleged illegal management of the recovered materials.

The discovery during the checks

During the investigation, the military found approximately five cubic meters of non-hazardous waste on a plot of land located in the municipality of Frignano.

Among the materials found in the area were rubble, construction waste, metal, plastic, and wood. According to the investigations, the waste was apparently managed in violation of environmental regulations.

Five people reported, land seized

Five owners of the plot of land came to the attention of the judicial authorities: four residents of Arezzo and one of Frignano. They were charged at liberty for the alleged illegal management of non-hazardous special waste.

The affected area, covering approximately 100 square meters, has been placed under criminal seizure. The measure aims to preserve the condition of the area and allow for further investigations necessary to reconstruct the incident.

Attention remains high on environmental crimes

The competent administrative and judicial authorities have been informed of the activity carried out and are required to proceed with the relevant procedures.

The operation is part of a series of controls aimed at preventing and repressing environmental crimes, with the goal of protecting the environment and public health.
The proceedings are currently in the preliminary investigation phase. All those charged are presumed innocent until a final conviction is issued.
