A 77-year-old man was reported by the Caserta Carabinieri for serious threats and failure to report weapons during a family dispute in Sant'Arpino; the weapon and ammunition were seized.

Late yesterday afternoon, the Carabinieri of the local Sant'Arpino station intervened to a dispute between family members.
Following the investigation, a local man, born in 1949, was reported to the judicial authorities at large on suspicion of serious threats and failure to report weapons and ammunition.
According to the Carabinieri's reconstruction, during the argument with his son, the man allegedly threatened him using a rifle that had been registered but was kept in a different location than indicated in the possession report.
The weapon was seized. During further investigations, the officers also confiscated the ammunition as a precautionary measure, simultaneously advancing a proposal to ban the interested party from possessing weapons.
The competent judicial authority has been informed of the activity, and will be responsible for making further decisions on the case.
The operation is part of the police force's ongoing local enforcement efforts, with particular attention to family conflicts and the proper storage and possession of weapons.
