Naples. Garbage, degradation and abandonment in the Galleria Principe di Napoli a few steps from the Museum where hundreds of tourists pass by every day. For days those bags of garbage left at night by an unknown hand have been in the center of the Galleria and despite the various reports from merchants and citizens no one has come to collect those bags. And yet that is one of the symbolic places of the cultural rebirth of Naples but looking at the photo it seems to be elsewhere. The merchants of the Galleria are asking that those garbage bags be removed because in addition to creating health problems they represent an unseemly sign for the area frequented every day by so many tourists.
