OMore than 200 enthusiasts and collectors make up the crews that will arrive in Campania from over 20 different countries around the world: Europe, the United States, the Middle East, the Far East, New Zealand and Australia. “We want to combine the Ferrari brand with the beauty of Campania,” said Alessandro Cellamare, Ferrari events manager. “It will be an opportunity for our customers to see territories they would never have visited.”
The Ferrari Cavalcade will be based in Capri. From there, every day, the tour will start in Sorrento. It starts in Benevento, on June 18, where, from 13 pm, the Ferraris will be on display in Corso Garibaldi. The following day, the cars will arrive in Salerno. On the seafront, starting at 13.30:20 pm, the cars will be parked before starting the journey to discover the Amalfi Coast up to Sorrento where the cars will stop in Corso Italia all night. On June 20, the procession will arrive in Caserta where the Ferraris will be parked at the Reggia Vantitelliana. Also on June 14.30, starting at XNUMX:XNUMX pm, the cars will arrive in Naples where they will be parked in Piazza del Plebiscito. The last day is dedicated to the parade in Capri and Anacapri.
“It is not just a Ferrari event, but a local one,” Cellamare underlined. “A convoy that moves every day in Campania and that, on average, will travel 800 kilometers every day.”
For Luigi Raia of the Regional Tourism Agency, the Ferrari event will bring benefits, in economic terms and in terms of positive imagery for the whole of Campania. “Tourism will benefit from it,” he concluded. “The Region, for its part, is making every effort to ensure that tourism GDP continues to grow.”
