Given the sold out of last week, by popular demand, Sunday 19 January, (16.30:17.30-18.30:20.30 – XNUMX:XNUMX-XNUMX:XNUMX) the exclusive appointment of KARMA – Art Culture Theatre returns. KARMA takes you back to the historic trains of Pietrarsa, which the Museum opens to visitors for a very special theatrical show.
In collaboration with the FS Foundation and the Pietrarsa Museum, we present “NEXT STOP: The station of memories”.
Spectators, in small groups of twenty, will have the opportunity to sit in the carriages of historic trains, while the actors, mixed among them, will interpret monologues, dialogues, or everyday life events… dramatic or brilliant, melancholic and surreal…
Director Antonio Ruocco says: “We are back with this show that always gives me an incredible emotion. An idea thought up together with Ciro Pellegrino who is also one of the protagonists of the show.
People will be travellers on historic trains of Pietrarsa.
The effects of a train station, the journey and everything that comes out of it, as if it were a real event. Spectators will experience the magic of the theater as if they were living stories of everyday life and there will even be train conductors. The peculiarity lies in the fact that people find themselves in a real station, with sound effects created ad hoc, passing from one train to another and from one story to another, catapulted into a world that is recreated in the wonderful historic carriages of Pietrarsa. So from the railcar to the Varesina, there will be comic, dramatic, grotesque and exciting moments that spectators will experience first hand.
The organizational part is entrusted to Antonio Raia: "After the sold out of last week, it is nice that the spectators ask us for a new date for this very special show. Also in this project we had the support of the director Orvitti who immediately accepted our proposal. The Pietrarsa Museum has become a point of reference in the world and for us it is an honor to be able to perform shows inside.
Pietrarsa is a true cultural hub and we, in our own small way, want to continue to give our contribution. And this is only possible thanks to the Director's availability".
The cast is composed of Ciro Pellegrino, Raffaele Parisi, Roberta Misticone, Emiliana Bassolino, Ciro Scherma. Diego Consiglio and Federico Siano will be the train conductors.
