Confesercenti Campania: “Yellow zone confirmed, an opportunity not to be missed for everyone”
President Vincenzo Schiavo: «We all respect the anti-Covid rules, entrepreneurs and consumers. Constant dialogue with the Government, now support for the businesses that are still closed»
The president of Confesercenti Campania Vincenzo Schiavo expressed satisfaction for the confirmation of Campania's "yellow zone" status: "It is too important an opportunity for the survival of our commercial activities that we cannot miss. The accumulated advantage must not be lost and this is why, together with Fiepet, we are making an appeal to everyone, entrepreneurs and consumers: there is a need to be extremely rigorous in respecting the anti-Covid rules, namely sanitization, distancing, masks and gatherings to be avoided. It would be a crime to waste this important opportunity for our economy".
Schiavo is also satisfied with the ongoing dialogue that Confesercenti is having with the Government. "In this sense, we obtained an important meeting on Monday: the president of Fiepet Nazionale/Confesercenti will have a meeting with the Minister of Economy Roberto Gualtieri to analyze the situation and quantify the further damage that bars and restaurants will have due to the closure of the business, and the ban on takeaway for bars, brought forward to 18 pm. Confesercenti is making its role as a trade association that has daily relations with the Government count. The hope is that the latter will listen to our requests. Our efforts - concludes Vincenzo Schiavo - are now all aimed at supporting in the most appropriate way the other businesses that are still closed, namely sports centers, dance halls, cinemas and theaters and the entire wedding industry: we also ask for their immediate reopening or at least that they have received certain and adequate compensation".
