“Acustico”, the new single by the Campania singer-songwriter Veronica, is online on all digital stores.
The song talks about autism, a very delicate social issue that the author knows closely. In fact, this disorder has directly involved a member of Veronica's family and for this reason, the singer-songwriter's aim was to give the listener the concrete point of view of those who live with this reality. Distributed by ARTIST FIRST and produced by CANTIERI SONORI, "Acustico" was written in collaboration with MARCO CANIGIULA and producer SKYWALKER. The bass was played by MATTEO CARLINI, bassist for the tours of Alex Britti, Serena Autieri and Andrea Faustini. The viola was played by SIMONA RUISI, additional violist in the main Italian orchestras and founder of the LuMiS Trio and Duo Amaranta.
After the success of WONDER WOMAN, a song dedicated to gender equality, the new musical project sees the singer-songwriter tackle another very delicate topic.
As the artist herself explains: «The music and lyrics of ACUSTICO were chosen with great care, borrowing the eyes of those who look at the world through this spectrum. The song, therefore, sets itself the arduous task of making listeners identify with a different type of perception of what surrounds them. The privilege of the point of view belongs to each of us, in fact what characterizes us, as human beings, is to be able to freely access that of those who make it available to us, as in the case of my cousin Desio».
The single features electronic nuances and, through the insertion of sounds aimed at conveying the point of view of a person affected by autism, it transforms into a real sensory experience.
Veronica Di Nocera is a singer-songwriter born in Naples 25 years ago and lives in Aversa, in the province of Caserta. After singing in several emerging bands in her city and participating in small local music competitions, in 2016, she reached the national semifinal of the 59th edition of the CASTROCARO FESTIVAL and the national final of the GHEDI FESTIVAL, while in 2017 she won the national final of the first edition of the MARIO DE ROSA AWARD with the extraordinary participation of MOGOL in the jury.
He also wrote numerous songs for the compilation HIT MANIA such as I BELIEVE IN YOUR EYES, CLOUD NINE, PLEASE DON'T STOP THE VIBES and JUST SUPERSTAR. In 2018 he attended the Master of Music at the Luiss Business School, comparing himself with performers, authors and singer-songwriters such as GIORGIA, TOMMASO PARADISO, CHEOPE and MAURIZIO FILARDO.
In 2019, she was included in the iCompany team for the organization of the CONCERTONE DEL PRIMO MAGGIO. In July 2019, she organized the 6th edition of PALINURO MED, a cultural event sponsored by the municipality of Centola - Palinuro, performing with numerous emerging artists. The Master of Music was the starting point of a project that unfolds between electronic and pop rhythms, combined together, acting as a musical and emotional score to the topics covered. In fact, each instrument marks the word, designed to enclose a personal and collective experience.
On January 30, 2020, the song KALEIDOSCOPIO was released, produced by Cantieri Sonori and focused on the theme of bullying. The video clip of the song was presented on the occasion of the national day against bullying as part of the Inverti tour organized by the Campania Region, also being among the first 6 out of over 700 projects in the final of the 17th edition of the Sicily Farm Film Festival in Agrigento. On March 31, the single ranked 1750st out of XNUMX projects in the semi-final of Primo Maggio Next.
The voice was the bridge between the first and second single: WONDER WOMAN, released on June 10, is dedicated to gender inequality and violence against women, whose video clip collects about fifty testimonies of women and men related to the issues addressed. On August 24, she performed at the Meeting del mare in the emerging artists section, opening the FULMINACCI concert. Veronica is one of the eleven finalists of the XVI edition of the prestigious PREMIO BIANCA D'APONTE and will also perform in the final at the EVOLI FESTIVAL 2021.
