Naples. Movida at the 'baretti' of Chiaia without masks: fines are pouring in.
Law enforcement crackdown on the crowded streets of Naples on Valentine's Day. An inter-force check by officers from the San Ferdinando Police Station, the Local Police, Carabinieri and Financial Police, as part of the territorial control services aimed at enforcing anti-Covid regulations, in the area of the "baretti", Piazza Plebiscito and Via Partenope, led to the identification of 55 people, fifteen of whom were fined because they were not wearing a mask.
Furthermore, during the activity, in via Cavallerizza in Chiaia the owner of a bar that was open beyond the permitted hours was fined, and the premises were also ordered to close for a day.
Finally, in via Partenope an 18-year-old from Ercolano was reported for carrying a weapon because he was found in possession of a switchblade approximately 22 centimeters long and fined for walking without a protective mask.
