Whirlpool Napoli, Tibaldi: 'Determined to resolve the dispute'
"The Whirlpool workers are ready to continue touring the country. We met with a minister who promised us seriousness. We are determined to resolve this dispute, we are determined to defend NAPLES and that plant."
This was stated by the national secretary of Fiom, Barbara Tibaldi, speaking on the sidelines of the CGIL metalworkers' board meeting in NAPLES. "The mobilizations continue throughout the group," Tibaldi added, "with strikes in all the factories, and we will call more. The minister asked us for a week's time: this is it."
"Tomorrow - concluded Tibaldi - we will see the nomination of the undersecretaries. Next week we expect, for the meetings, some news and that that seriousness has legs, otherwise we will put the legs back in."
