Buses and metro in Naples are constantly crowded. Metro carriages stormed without social distancing
The critical situation of public transport in Naples, where buses and subway trains continue to be dangerously overcrowded, especially during rush hour, has yet to find a resolution.
In the latest reports sent by users to the Regional Councilor of Europa Verde Francesco Emilio Borrelli, it was reported that on April 22 the bus of line 184 and the carriages of the metro line 1 were stormed by passengers without respecting the safety distance to avoid Covid infections.
“We have been denouncing this situation for over a year now and nothing has been done yet. We have sent dozens and dozens of notes to the ANM asking for countermeasures such as the intensification of journeys, more checks on board and in stations and systems that would allow the flow of passengers to be controlled. What has been achieved has been very little, the most absolute indifference. An entire economy has been stopped to stem the contagions and allowing such situations in public transport is paradoxical, irresponsible and shameful.” - the words of Borrelli.
