More than twenty years have passed since that 11th January 1999 when Italy rediscovered itself culturally a little poorer. The death of Fabrizio De André, which took place at 2.30 in the morning at the Istituto dei Tumori in Milan, made that day a watershed in the recent history of Italian music and poetry.
Since then, the Genoese singer-songwriter has become a true icon and his memory lives on thanks to the songs left as a legacy to the new generations. Working on the person is difficult, doing it on the myth is impossible and that doesn't mean you can't do it, but you have to do the impossible.
From this comes the need to stage “Bocca di rosa: a tribute to De André”. Bocca di rosa has another content. It is her, but it is not her. It is her with another point of view. De André's songs revolve around this subject, of course, those, yes, have their own point of view and tell us by also talking to us about Fabrizio De André, because they can afford it above any rhetoric.
