Land of Fires Naples and Cellole Interforce Controls
On the morning of July 1st, an extraordinary inter-force control operation against the illegal disposal and burning of industrial, artisanal and commercial waste was carried out in the municipalities of Naples and Cellole.
The effort to repress and prevent the illegal abandonment of waste from domestic, industrial and agricultural users continues, also targeting illegal landfills, according to the planning established with the coordination of the Prefecture of Naples with the Prefecture of Caserta, the two Police Headquarters and with the other Police Forces of the provinces, based on the programming proposed by the Person in Charge of combating the phenomenon of fires in the Campania region within the Control Room "Land of fires"

On July 1st, 21 crews went into action for a total of 55 inter-force units, in the locations and sites where waste is usually abandoned and then disposed of illegally on the territory, checking 11 business and commercial activities, of which 1 was seized, 34 people identified, of which 13 were reported among irregular workers guilty of environmental crimes and 4 were fined, 36 vehicles checked, approximately 250 square meters of areas seized, approximately 36.866,00 euros of fines imposed.
This is the detailed composition of the crews in the field: Campania Group of the Army based on the "Guide" Cavalry Regiment (19th), State Police of Scampia (Na), Forestry Carabinieri of Naples, Financial Police of Naples, Metropolitan Police of Naples, Central Inspectorate for the Repression of Fraud Southern Italy, Environmental Police of Naples, Municipal Police of Naples, Carabinieri of Secondigliano (Na), Nolana Area Agency, State Police of Sessa Aurunca (Ce), Territorial Financial Police of Sessa Aurunca (Ce), Provincial Police of Caserta, Carabinieri of Cellole (Ce), ASL Caserta, ARPAC of Caserta.
Illicit management and disposal of waste and processing scraps are the crimes contested.
