Auto Parts Scam, Thirty-Year-Old Reported Thanks to a Report from a Citizen
The Carabinieri of the station of Bagnoli Irpino, taking inspiration from a report by a citizen who had sensed he had been scammed, reported a thirty-year-old from the province of Caserta, already known to the police.
The man, after having sold some car spare parts online, collected a few hundred euros that the unfortunate man had paid by top-up on a prepaid card, in fact did not send the purchased goods and made himself untraceable.

Through a series of investigations, the Carabinieri were able to identify the alleged perpetrator, who was subsequently reported at liberty to the competent Judicial Authority for the crime of fraud.
We would like to remind you once again of the useful advice given with the initiative “Defend yourself from scams”, born from the strong will of the Provincial Carabinieri Command of Avellino and implemented in a widespread manner throughout the territory by all dependent departments, for the specific prevention of this predatory crime. It is important to know how to recognize the most risky situations and, consequently, the behaviors to adopt, always being wary of purchases that are extremely convenient, as they are most likely a scam or stolen products.
