The month of August began in the name of solidarity on the island of Capri.
In fact theCapri Without Barriers Association, with a large delegation led by the president Michael Lembo, donated to the maritime ticket offices of Marina Grande a new wheelchair, which will be available for islanders and visitors who require assistance in embarking and disembarking.
Present at the delivery of the chair, in addition to the members of the Association, the ladies from the SNAV ticket office Carmen Pandolfi and Simona and the president of the Port Cooperative, Vincenzo Rusciano. A beautiful initiative, which aims to underline how important it is, already as a business card of arrival on the Island, to have tools available that can assist the disabled to improve their experience of our beautiful Island.
This project is one of the many planned this year by theCapri Without Barriers Association, which is expanding its services to the disabled also with the help of new partnerships with private entities and companies. Itop, a leading company in the orthopedic supplies sector, has recently joined the Association's initiatives.
