Widespread checks in Torre Annunziata after the murder of Francesco Immobile which occurred last Sunday.
As established during the committee for public order and safety that took place on Monday, the Carabinieri of the Torre Annunziata Company combed the streets of Torre and the surrounding municipalities and the Penniniello neighborhood where the murder took place.
The military, supported by the Carabinieri of the “Campania” Regiment, of the Pontecagnano Helicopter Unit, guarded the “Penniniello” public housing park.

Found and seized in common areas of block 21 of Penniniello Park, 11 grams of “cocaine” and 102 grams of “marijuana” divided into 110 pre-packaged doses.
In Pompeii, the Carabinieri, during a road check, identified and arrested Antonio Iervolino, a 26-year-old from Poggiomarino already known to the police.
The man, under special surveillance with an obligation to stay, was caught in via Sacra, in violation of the obligations imposed, in the company of a 20-year-old with no criminal record and a 25-year-old offender. These two were reported at large because they were found in possession of a telescopic truncheon, a knuckle-duster and two knives. During the service, 26 local searches were carried out and 98 people and 34 vehicles were checked.
Two drug users were reported to the Prefect because they were found in possession of small quantities of “marijuana”. Those arrested were placed under house arrest pending a direct trial.
