After two intense weeks of programming at the Tram Theater from Via Port'Alba to Napoli, anche il prossimo weekend – da Thursday 28 a Sunday, October 31, last performance – they will be on stage “The moral operettas” by Leopardi.
A very current text brought to the stage by the harmonious and complementary presence of Antonio D'Avino and Nello Provenzano with the direction of Mirko Di Martino, who is also the founder and artistic director of Tram.
After a year of closure, the small theater in Via Port'Alba starts again with a 200-year-old classic - but one that leaves you speechless for its incredible topicality - not created for the theater but that adapts very well to the theater: ten dialogues alternate without the two actors ever leaving the stage, letting flow reflections on happiness, on man and the relationship with his peers, pain and death. And never in gloom, but in the smile, sometimes bitter, that accompanies the staging of 10 of Leopardi's 24 Operette morali, written in 1824 and mostly in Naples.
The show, produced by Teatro Dell'Osso and Il Demiurgo in collaboration with Teatro Tram, will be performed on Thursday (18 pm and 21 pm), Friday (20 pm), Saturday (19 pm) with a last performance on Sunday (18 pm). On the website teatrotram.it all the updates on the schedules and the possibility to buy tickets.
