The Punta Campanella Marine Protected Area meets the children of the area. Four free appointments for the 6-10 age group. The initiative of the Circolo Nautico Marina Lobra and the Marine Park will take place on 8-9-15 and 16 October. The environmental education activities, curated by the staff of the Marine Protected Area, will open next Friday at 15 pm with a meeting with the President of the Park, Lucio Cacace, and with Marshal Paolo Castaldo, commander of the Locamare Massa Lubrense. We will talk about respect for the environment, the sea and safety.
In the following appointments, space will be given to the extraordinary underwater world and the protection activities carried out by the Marine Protected Area. On October 9th at 10,30:XNUMX, a journey to discover the sea and the wonders of Punta Campanella, accompanied by surprising experiments.
The following weekend, the protection projects of two very important and evocative species will be presented: dolphins and sea turtles. On October 15th at 15 pm, in fact, space will be given to whales and dolphins, with the LifeDelfi project in the foreground, which aims to protect cetaceans by reducing interactions with the world of fishing.
While on the 16th at 10,30:XNUMX, the fascinating world of sea turtles will be presented through an interactive lesson and educational workshops, with the commitment of the Marine Protected Area in saving specimens in difficulty and monitoring summer nests, this year a record in Campania. The meetings will be held in the splendid location of the Circolo Nautico di Marina Lobra.
