Green passes to access the buses, 90 non-compliant travelers were found by Air staff. This is the partial balance of the checks carried out on the first day of checks on users. From today, in fact, the rule that extends the obligation of the "basic" green pass to access the buses has come into force.
The regional road transport company, to facilitate the operations of the police, has deployed a task force of 105 people in charge of checking certifications for both employees and travellers. The results of the random checks (data updated at 15 pm) show irregularities in 10% of cases. Of the 906 certifications checked by Air staff, 90 people were found not to be in compliance with the green pass and were asked not to board the buses.
The checks were carried out in the competent offices throughout the regional territory. By reading the QR code, the VerificaC-19 app did not recognize the regularity of 33 certifications in Avellino, 24 in Benevento, 11 in Caserta and Capua. In Grottaminarda 8 irregular positions, 3 those found in Ariano Irpino. “Thanks to the plans developed by the individual Prefectures and with the coordination of the police forces since dawn, the mixed task force is carrying out checks on the travelers' certifications.
Air is making a significant effort and I would like to thank the staff who once again demonstrated great professionalism. But the greatest thanks go to the users, for their sense of responsibility. The first data tell us that 90 percent of travelers are in compliance with the green pass. Numbers that at this particular moment are comforting to guarantee greater safety to users" said the sole director of Air, Anthony Acconcia.
