'Safely at the cinema' is the slogan that will accompany “Capri Hollywood 2021” the International Film Festival scheduled from December 26th to January 2nd.
The event founded and produced by Pascal Vicedomini with the Capri nel Mondo Institute, the support of the MiC and the Campania Region this year is promoted with the patronage of the Italian Red Cross to ensure compliance with the government rules defined by the CTS and those established by regional ordinances.
"The event, which has been scheduled since 1995 at the height of the American awards season, the Golden Globes and the Oscars, will be held for the first time between Anacapri, Capri, Sorrento, Pompeii, Ercolano and Naples. The conclusion will be at the Teatro San Carlo, on January 3, with a sober gala organized with Intesa Sanpaolo and the Pegaso Telematic University – explains Vicedomini – to celebrate the national and international Masters of cinematographic art in the myth of Francesco Rosi and to begin the celebrations of the Centenary of his birth together with his daughter Carolina Rosi and many testimonies. A special dedication goes to our late honorary president Lina Wertmuller who became an honorary citizen of Naples in 2016".
The 26th edition of Capri Hollywood includes over 150 free screenings in movie theaters, meetings and awards ceremonies and also a “Capri Special Contest”, organized on the platforms Mymoives.it and Eventive.org, with 1400 independent artists from 90 countries, who have applied to participate on filmfreeway.com.
