Forio: after an argument he stabs his cousin, he is in serious condition

The Carabinieri of the Ischia Company arrested a 25-year-old with no criminal record for attempted murder.

Yesterday late in the afternoon, the military personnel of the Operational and Radiomobile unit - alerted by the emergency room of Lacco Ameno – they intervened in a house in the municipality of Forio where shortly before a young man had been stabbed.

The military found that there had been a violent fight over trivial matters between the 25-year-old and his cousin – a 32-year-old local man who also had no criminal record.

The argument turned into physical violence and eventually the 25-year-old grabbed a knife and stabbed his family member in the left side, causing injuries to several vital organs.

The victim was transported to the“Rizzoli” hospital in Lacco Ameno and underwent surgery. The 32-year-old is currently hospitalized in intensive care with a reserved prognosis.
During the night, at the end of the investigations, the 25enne was arrested and is now awaiting trial.
