Investigation into Italian football. A new line of investigation into alleged irregularities in contracts and the famous capital gains between football clubs.
In fact, the Guardia di Finanza, a special unit of currency police, is carrying out a series of searches against an Italian sports agent and his companies. In addition, the Fiamme Gialle are carrying out 11 requests for the delivery of documentation, including computer documentation, against as many football clubs: Juventus, Torino, Inter, Milan, Hellas Verona, Spal, Fiorentina, Cagliari, Roma, Frosinone and Napoli.
The investigation coordinated by the deputy prosecutor Maurizio Romanelli and the prosecutor Giovanni Polizzi, has acquired documentation on many buying and selling operations managed by Fali Ramadani and Pietro Chiodi, including according to what we learn the one that brought Miralem Pjanic from Juve to Barcelona and the transfer of Federico Chiesa from Fiorentina to Juventus. Ramadani, moreover, is the agent of Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly and Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri.
The Albanian super prosecutor Fali Ramadani and his Italian colleague are in the crosshairs. Both are under investigation for tax crimes, money laundering and self-laundering in an investigation into the failure to declare to the tax authorities the proceeds of commissions paid to agents in the purchase and sale of football players.
The financiers, on behalf of the prosecutor Giovanni Polizzi, are also acquiring documentation from sixteen of eleven (not under investigation) Serie A companies.
The Milan prosecutor's office, which is coordinating the investigation, announced this in a note. The alleged crimes are of a fiscal nature, money laundering and self-laundering and concern the activity of a well-known foreign sports agent in collaboration with the Italian agent.
