The decision by order of the Vasto Arenaccia police station for violation of anti-covid regulations has sparked controversy among managers who contest the provision.
The decision was made following a violent brawl that broke out in the club on the evening of November 27. A private party was underway but a small group of young people wanted to enter. They were chased away by security and returned shortly after with balaclavas on their heads and unleashed hell: first by throwing bottles at the entrance to the club and then by firing gunshots in the air, but not before injuring one or more members of the security team.
Now the police are examining the images from the cameras to trace the perpetrators of the assault. But the owners of the place are contesting the closure because they feel they are an injured party in the affair.
